Apple has been a company that has stood the test of time when it comes to being attacked in advertising. No matter what other people say about Apple, they always seem to take it in stride.
Not this time!
Apple, although still rather innocently, has decided to spice up its campaign for it’s iPhone 3GS. The ads now specifically target the iPhones unique capacities (such as the ability to use certain apps while still on the phone) which have been targeted by the droid campaign.
The ads now specifically ask, “can your phone do that?”
This is the first time that Apple has directly pointed a finger at the competition of the 3GS, and it is a brave call indeed.
